• Shipper and broker information. Name, company name, email address, phone number, origin and destination, commodity, weight, equipment needs, pickup dates, and any notes you include in a quote or contact request.
• Driver applicant information. Name, contact details, CDL class and experience, endorsements, work history, and any details you voluntarily provide in a driver inquiry. Formal employment applications, background checks, MVR reviews, and DOT-regulated screening are handled separately through our hiring process and are governed by applicable federal regulations, including 49 CFR Parts 382 and 391.
• Technical information. Basic server and device data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and referring page, collected automatically when you browse the site.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and we ask that you not submit sensitive information (such as Social Security numbers, driver’s license images, or medical records) through website forms.

2. How We Use Information

• Respond to quote requests, capacity inquiries, and general questions.
• Arrange, dispatch, track, and invoice transportation services, and communicate load status.
• Review driver inquiries and contact applicants about open positions.
• Maintain records required of motor carriers, including shipping documents, bills of lading, and safety records.

• Improve the content, performance, and security of this website.

We send marketing messages only to business contacts who request information from us, and every such message includes a way to opt out.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share information only as needed to deliver the services you request or to meet legal obligations:

• Freight brokers, 3PLs, shippers, receivers, and partner carriers involved in a shipment.
• Service providers that support our business, such as email, hosting, dispatch and accounting software, and insurance providers, under confidentiality obligations.
• Government agencies, regulators, insurers, or legal counsel when required by law, subpoena, audit, or to establish or defend a claim.
• A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets.

4. Cookies and Analytics

This website may use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality and basic traffic measurement. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; essential pages will continue to work. We do not use website cookies to build advertising profiles.

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described above and to meet recordkeeping requirements that apply to motor carriers and to our tax, insurance, and contractual obligations. Quote requests that do not result in a shipment are deleted or archived once they are no longer commercially useful.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls and encrypted transmission of website form submissions, to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Choices

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you submitted, or to stop contacting you, by emailing akbarstarexpress@gmail.com. Residents of states with applicable privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right to confirm what personal information we hold and to request its deletion; we will not discriminate against you for exercising those rights. We may need to retain certain records where the law requires it.
